Yoga Basics will introduce various asanas, or postures, the use of the breath, basic use of props and will cover the benefits of yoga such as balance, strength and flexibility. Yoga Basics is open to all levels of practitioners.

      This slower-paced flowing yoga class is designed to promote health and relaxation by working the entire body in a calming and gentle way. It is tailored for those of us who are looking to relieve stress and anxiety, increase energy, and ease the mind by becoming aware of the importance of the breath in our body. Gentle yoga is recommended for all levels of yoga practitioners and can be especially beneficial to those recovering from injury or illness.

    • CORE Power

      Core Conditioning is Frankie Hart's unique Pilates-based mat class that focuses on strengthening the powerhouse, the muscles in the center of our body that are instrumental in creating and maintaining good posture and alignment. Each challenging workout develops strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. For best results, it is encouraged that students engage in two classes per week.

      This class is designed for students new to yoga and for those that enjoy a steady pace. Build strength and flexibility in your body while you create a healthy foundation on which to build a lifelong yoga practice.

    • Therapeutic Essentials Yoga Online

      Join Frankie Hart's online Therapeutic Essentials Yoga Class. This class launches at 9am with later registrations available at 1pm and 5pm. You have until 9 am the following day to view the class. Build strength, balance and flexibility in a home practice with sequences designed for you.

      Flowing Yoga is a Vinyasa style class. Vinyasa is a term that means "breath-synchronized movement." You will be guided to move from one pose to the next with the breath. Flowing or Vinyasa Yoga describes the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. The classic Sun Salutation is an example of vinyasa flow. At least an introductory knowledge of the Yoga Basics poses is recommended for this more rigorous class.

      This class will increase your awareness of core alignment & stability preparing you for the Core Power class. You will be taught the basics of toning the abdomen, strengthening the back & creating a strong center.

    • Qigong Practice Class

      The Qigong Practice Class is for students who have successfully completed a Qigong course in the Inner Dan Arts at Satya Life Yoga. The forms are not taught in these practice classes. To learn these healing Qigong forms you may register for a Qigong class listed under Workshops. These practice classes are an opportunity for us to practice together to inspire and enhance our home practice. Together we can "feel qi, get qi, move qi".

      Practicing Prenatal Yoga is beneficial for both mother and baby. Through stretching, breathing and relaxation, this class helps to alleviate symptoms of pregnancy and to prepare your mind and body for a beautiful and conscious birth.

    • Intermediate/Advanced Yoga

      Designed for our intermediate and advanced yoga students (at least one year experience), this class is not simply a yoga "work out," but rather focuses on deepening the student's understanding and experience of yoga.       Wed: Date: 6/22/2016 - 7/27/2016; From: 7:15 pm - 8:45 pm. It is with great pleasure that we are offering the Qigong High Level course once again at Satya Life Yoga! This is a rare and special occasion. After our trip to study in China, led by our teacher Master Tianyou Hao, I received my Master certification for teaching Chinese Qigong. This important stepping stone marked a place on my own personal journey that is as significant as climbing the Great Wall with the dearest of friends, and as humbling. It is an honor to be able to share this work with you, opening ancient doorways to health and happiness in our contemporary times. Chinese Qigong has played an important role in my own life since my early twenties. Upon reflection, it is hard to believe that I have been practicing these forms for more than twenty-five years. Then again, Master Hao would always say, "Forget your age, just practice!". In the High Class (Level III) which follows the Intermediate course, we will continue to "Feel Qi, Get Qi, Move Qi". What does this mean? Learning to understand the body's life force energy allows us to not only monitor our state of health and happiness, it also offers us techniques to decrease pain, improve strength, build our immune system, balance emotional and mental stress, increase organ health, and bring a quality of grace into our lives. This new High Class, Level III, includes standing forms, quiet forms and powerful self-healing forms. If you have been away from your Qigong practice for some time, do not worry. The course will be a gentle path to your own health and balance. This is a perfect time to return. Note: There will not be a class on Wednesday July 9th.
